How We Measure Our Garments
The measurements shown in the table are not based on body circumference. Instead, they represent the width of the garment when laid flat on a surface and gently stretched.
For example:

Chest: measured from seam to seam under the armpits with the garment laid flat.

Sleeve: measured from the shoulder seam to the end of the sleeve.

Waist: the width of the garment at waist level, measured flat.

Length: from the highest point of the shoulder down to the bottom hem.
